Tetsuya Mizuguchi, the brain behind Rez, Lumines and Meteos, and one of SPOnG's favourite laid-back Japanese game developers, has just announced details on two new games for PSP and DS.

The information has been unveiled through the Internet courtesy of an IGN translation of the latest copy of Japanese gaming bible, Famitsu. The PSP game will be titled Gunpey-R - that's short for Gunpey Reverse - while the DS will be getting Oto wo Tsunagou! Gunpey Reverse. The two games are based on the 1999 Wonderswan puzzle game Gunpey and Mizuguchi will be executive producer on both titles.

BRUSSELS: European Union regulators won backing from member states to fine Microsoft Corp. for failing to comply with an antitrust order.

DALLAS: Dell, the world's leading producer of PCs, announced on Wednesday that it would offer users of its computers the opportunity to recycle their old hardware for free, regardless of whether they plan to purchase a new Dell computer.

Microsoft has unveiled a new integrated software capable of transforming the upcoming Office 2007 in to a platform for unified email, voice and video communications.

BOSTON: EMC's has decided to spend nearly $ 2.1 billion for security vendor RSA which, therefore, promises to reshape the competitive landscape of the storage and infrastructure- management segments of the IT industry.

EMC will be paying $ 28 per share for RSA that is a 22 percent premium above RSA's closing price of $ 22.88 per share on Thursday.

DALLAS: The Tenet Healthcare Corporation has agreed to a $ 900 million settlement with federal officials to end investigations into accusations of overbilling Medicare. In addition, the company plans to sell about a dozen hospitals in an effort to regain its financial footing.

The settlement,valued at about one-fourth of Tenet's stock market value will be paid over four years and ends all federal investigations by the Department of Justice and several United States attorneys.
