Kate Gosselin wants to keep 'dancing'

Los Angeles -- Reality-television mom Kate Gosselin hopes to get her 35th birthday wish: to remain on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars."

Gosselin, the former star of TLC's "Jon & Kate plus 8!," had a rough start on Monday's premier of the 10th season of the popular TV dance competition.

"I hope I'm not one of the first to go," she told People magazine. "I really like it here. You become close to everybody so fast."

Gosselin, a mother of eight who turned 35 Sunday, did a Viennese waltz that judge Bruno Tonioli said looked like her partner, Tony Dovolani, was "pushing a shopping cart around the floor." Gosselin and Dovolani will dance the jive on the next show Monday night.
