Manure feud leads to shots fired

Huron, Mich. -- Authorities in Michigan said a man who fired a gun during a feud with neighbors about manure was arrested by Taser-wielding deputies.

Huron County sheriff's deputies said Casey and Tina Jahn were spreading lime and manure on their farm at about 9:30 a.m. when a 45-year-old neighbor who had previously argued with the couple about placement of the fertilizer began firing his shotgun, the Saginaw (Mich.) News reported Tuesday.

Deputies said the man aimed the gun at the couple when they climbed into their tractor.

The sheriff's office said deputies arrived on the scene and found the 45-year-old man "uncooperative." He was shocked with a Taser and arrested on suspicion of felonious assault. The suspect was taken to the Huron County Jail.
