Sean Penn and Robin Wright together again

Los Angeles, May 22: Merely days after filing for legal separation from wife Robin Wright, Hollywood actor/director Sean Penn has apparently changed his mind about divorce again.

Sean Penn, who had filed for legal separation last month from his wife Robin Wright, has withdrawn his divorce request again

The Academy Award winning actor has reportedly withdrawn his motion for legal separation from his wife of 13 years. Penn was granted a dismissal of his request for a legal separation from his actress wife Robin Wright Tuesday.

Penn’s Divorce Petition
Penn initially filed for separation from his wife on April 24 in California’s Marin County Superior Court - which was the two-time Oscar winning actor’s second petition in 16 months. In the papers, Penn had cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

Penn’s arrogant mistake
Now, the records show that Penn has pulled back that filing. "It was an arrogant mistake," the New York Daily News quoted the actor as saying.

Friends of the couple think regular arguments between the two led Penn to move the court. A pal told Daily News: "They love each other like crazy but they fight like crazy.

“They may have gotten into a fight where she said she wanted a divorce and he filed just to beat her to the punch, even though he doesn't want a divorce. That doesn't mean they're suddenly happy and in love. It's anyone's guess where this is going."

The fresh troubles surfaced in February when the couple attended the Academy Awards together and Penn failed to mention his wife after winning the Best Actor Oscar for his role in the drama "Milk".

"This appears to imply that they're reconciling again," L.A. divorce lawyer Lynn Soodik, who is not involved with the case, said of Penn’s second request for dismissal of divorce petition. "It's unlikely Sean Penn would request a dismissal for any other reason."

This is not the first time the actor has withdrawn divorce papers. Penn, 48, and Wright Penn, 43, who married on April 27, 1996, first filed for divorce in December 2007 after 11 years of marriage, but dismissed that divorce petition four months later, in April 2008.

Neither Penn’s lawyer commented, so far, on the issue nor Wright, who is acting as a juror at this year's Cannes Film Festival, has responded to the reports. She was given 30 days to respond to Penn’s petition.

Penn & Wright’s Personal and Professional life
Penn was previously married to pop star Madonna. The two tied the knot in 1985, and divorced in 1989. Soon after divorce, Penn began a relationship with Robin Wright, and had two children Dylan Frances (Born in 1991) and Hopper Jack (Born in 1993).

Robin Wright, who first became famous from her television performance in the soap Santa Barbara, rose to fame after her roles in “The Princess Bride” and “Forrest Gump”. Her latter role was nominated for best supporting actress in the Golden Globe Award.

The couple worked together in several films, including "She's So Lovely" in 1997 and "Hurlyburly" in 1998.

Leave Him

Robin, leave this seditionist coward. He'd prefer to fellate Hugo Chavez or Mahmoud Ahmadinejad than be around a real woman like you.

Sean Penn has always been

Sean Penn has always been arrogant and an egomaniac. His wife should go and file for divorce, take his money and then let him beg forgiveness for making a fool of himself again. No woman should stand by and let a man humiliate her with 2 very public divorce filings and just sit there and take it. Girl...show some backbone. I would leave him just for his political views alone!
