Four installments of Twilight
Based on Stephenie Meyer's best-selling novel, the first ‘Twilight’ movie had topped the US and UK box offices last year; second and third installments of the franchise are currently in the making.
Pattison revealed that he is committed to star in the fourth movie based on ‘Breaking Dawn’, but does not know when studio Summit Entertainment will start with its production because of the actor's tight shooting schedule.
At present they are shooting for the second film, ‘New Moon’, in Italy; making of the third movie, Twilight: Eclipse, is likely to be kicked off in October.
Edward’s boost up
The story of ‘Twilight’ series revolves around Edward, a decades-old vampire and his romance with Bella, a teenage mortal.
Pattison disclosed that Edward’s character has been given a boost for the second movie ‘New Moon’, lifting it up from just being "a voice in Bella's head", as portrayed in the book.
"You're playing a figment in Bella's imagination so I was trying to do it in a 2D way. I hope it doesn't translate onscreen as being boring," he told The Hollywood Reporter.
The British actor’s confirmation has brought some joy to the fans of ‘Twilight’, who were hoping for a fourth movie in anticipation of getting a real picture of Bella’s marriage to Edward and her subsequent pregnancy.
Meanwhile, Twilight-fans can look forward to the first glimpse of ‘New Moon’ at the MTV Movie Awards on May 31, where Pattison and his co-stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will put forward a new clip.
Admirers will soon get to see more of Pattison as the 23-year-old star plans to star in the romantic drama ‘Remember Me,’ which will also be produced by Summit Entertainment.
