New York, May 19 -- Farrah Fawcett’s anal cancer and her illness have been discussed long. We know she is bed-ridden, on heavy medication, in poor health and probably in the final stage of her cancer. But nobody knows how much time the actress really has.

"No one has said to her you have two months to live," said Farrah’s friend Alana Stewart, the former wife of rocker Rod Stewart. “I’m looking at that as a really good sign.”

They might be praying for a miracle recovery of the star, but Fawcett’s family members, friends and fans are prepared for the inevitable too.

Recently, Farrah Fawcett narrated her battle with cancer in a video titled ‘Farrah’s Story’, which was aired by NBC on Friday. Nearly 9 million people tuned in to watch the documentary that has helped raise awareness of a rarely discussed disease.

Watching her own battle and how she gradually weakened by the disease was a little tough for Farrah as it meant reliving those gloomy days.

"She cried a few times. It was very emotional for her," Alana Stewart told NBC's ‘Today’ program in a recent interview. "It's been a very, very long journey, you know, and going back through it was probably a bit painful."

’Farrah’s Story’ sequel in the making
However, they haven’t stopped filming and we might soon get another video on the actual life of Farrah Fawcett.

According to many, filming your own battle with a disease, despite knowing that you’re gradually losing, is a laudable thing to do. "I think one of the most powerful things that Miss Fawcett did in this documentary was give patients a sense of hope and to just show how she's handled this with such courage and dignity," said Dr. Paul Song, a radiation oncologist.

Farrah and Ryan to wed?
Lara Spencer, host of ‘The Insider’, who had interviewed Farrah’s close friend Alana Stewart, revealed on Monday night that despite serious illness Fawcett might tie the knot with longtime partner Ryan O’Neal.

"He said you never know. He was cagey about it," Spencer said of O’Neal’s intentions. "And, you know, I think he would in a second. He's so madly in love with her."

she is very brave and

she is very brave and hopeful also because she efforts new treatments.I prayed for her from my deep heart.God'll do any miracle definitely.

I watched the Farrah Story.

I watched the Farrah Story. As a cancer survivor I can understand her pain and appreciate her efforts to try new treatments. I felt sad to see how much pain she endured and had hope for a miracle. It was sad to see when her son came to visit. Maybe her son will grow up and act like a mature man and make his mother proud instead of causing her more pain. My prayers are with her and her family. She has a true friend in Alana Stewart not many people can endure watching a friend die.

Why can't they give her a

Why can't they give her a liver transplant?

No liver transplant

I use to work in the Transplant Unit of a hospital in Florida. One of the criteria for liver transplant is that the patient is currently cancer free. Once a person has metastatic cancer, meaning it has already spread, a transplant will not help them. Farrah's cancer has not only spread to the liver, it has reappeared in the original site which had previously been treated. I wish there was a cure for Farrah and the millions of others who suffer from cancer. The most important thing she can do now is stay calm and as pain free as possible. God bless you Farrah, I think about you daily, you are much stronger than you know.

She has metastatic cancer.

She has metastatic cancer. She is not candidate for liver transplant.

Farrah's documentary

I think decisions are always difficult to make especially when there seems to be another solution. In Farrah's case it was too late to have a colostomy once the cancer had spread to the liver. My mother had the same cancer and survived treatment for just under three years. After looking over her case history, the colostomy may have saved her as well. I don't believe in conservative cancer treatment. To me, it makes sense to surgically remove all or as much of a tumor as you can.In Farrah's case, the tumor did not respond the way she would have hoped, and it surpises me that she did not have the colostomy.Any cancer that has anything to do with the digestive tract, which includes the anus, is really tricky and difficult to see soon enough. The chances of her being cancer free were quite minimal since the tumors returned if I remember correctly after only three months.I also believe that we don't have all of the information on the case. I ask why she wasn't treated again after the liver was free from tumors with the same treatments she had the first time in Germany. Maybe she did, but it wasn't clear in the documentary.I also am unaware of the time frame that this all took place in. It sounds like a lot of time passed which gave the cancer a lot of time to grow. I am aware that two weeks can make a big difference. The only other question I have is...why Farrah didn't stay in Germany as the Dr stated, there are more treatments she could try, but too weak to travel. For me, I felt terrible for Farrah going thru this, but the documentary left me confused, and wondering what was the true intent of the piece. Hopefully Farrah will live so she can let us know more.I don't think we need to see a part two if she doesn't improve now. She is a beautiful lady with courage, and seems very sensitive and loving.....I will pray for her.

I wonder if she has second

I wonder if she has second thoughts about the colostomy and wonder if it is too late to perform this life-saving surgery.

colostomy

I think it is to late for surgery, now that it hit her liver.

I pray for a miricle.

Hope For Farrah

I hope a miracle happens for her. The filming of what she endured showed a side to her people seldom see. I also wonder if the diagnosis is what made her act strange for a while a few years ago. Maybe she tried to dull her senses to the diagnosis with drugs or just denial and it ended up making her act different.

I was so hopeful when she went to Germany for further testing and treatment and was saddened by the outcome thus far. Good luck Farrah, we're praying for you!!
