Details of the photos
The seven alleged snaps of Rihanna hit the web Friday (May 8) that seem to have been taken with a digital camera in a large bathroom by the "Disturbia" singer herself.
In one picture, Rihanna is seen standing in front of a mirror with what looks to be nothing but an unbuttoned polo shirt and black shorts on and taking pic of her in the mirror with her Blackberry.
The words “I Love You-Robyn” and “I Miss You” can be seen written on the mirror. Robyn is Rihanna’s legal name.
Of the seven provocative photos, three images are undeniably of Rihanna as these pictures show her face, while of the other four photos three are bottomless back shots and one completely bare photo, not showing her head. But the body does look a lot like Rihanna’s.

Another picture shows a shirtless man looking like Rihanna’s infamous ex-boyfriend Chris Brown with a pair of pink panties on his head.
Authenticity of photos still unclear
Neither the authenticity of the photos has been confirmed as of yet, nor any statement has been made by Rihanna, Chris Brown, or their spokespersons on the leak of the images.
Rihanna’s photo leak to the Internet comes on the heels of the leak of R&B singer Cassie's topless pictures. The topless photos of Cassie hit the internet on Thursday (May 7).
RiRi’s record label wants pics off the Web
Meanwhile, celebrity gossip site TMZ reports that the legal department at Rihanna’s record company, Island Def Jam Music Group, sent a letter to at least one website that published the photos, demanding it to remove "unauthorized photos purported to be...Rihanna’s" from the site.
The letter calls the publication of photos a violation of "the Artist's rights".
It’s been a rough year for the 21-year-old R&B songtress. Since April, the “Umbrella” singer has been in the headlines due to her much-publicized beating incident, in which Brown was accused of assaulting Rihanna on the eve of their scheduled appearance at the Grammy Awards show.
Brown was arrested on Feb. 8 in Los Angeles on suspicion of making criminal threats against a woman, believed to be Rihanna, after a late-night dispute. The troubled R&B singer was charged with the two felony charges- assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury, and making criminal threats.
