The reports of Fawcett nearing her death had recently surfaced when she got admitted in a Los Angels hospital but Fawcett was released in fine health and the reports were squashed soon after.
However, now the actress is said to be confined to bed, on intra-venous fluids and bereaved of her famous golden tresses.
Ryan O’ Neal’s revelation
Ryan O’ Neal, the longtime partner of Fawcett, recently revealed her condition to ‘People’ magazine. "She stays in bed now. The doctors see that she is comfortable,” he said. “Farrah is on IVs, but some of that is for nourishment. The treatment has pretty much ended.”
A friend of Fawcett says that O’Neal’s interview pretty much indicates that “it was OK for the goodbyes to begin. We’ve all wanted to remain positive for as long as possible.”
Also, the friend added, Fawcett “knows there’s tremendous support, but really right now is about being with her family and close friends”.
According to a report on celebrity website RadarOnline, the former ‘Charlie's Angels’ star is on a light liquid diet as she can't keep food down.
Also, the website says that Fawcett's 91 year old father, James, is flying to Los Angeles to be with his daughter in her final days.
History of ‘Charlie’s Angel’
Fawcett, 62, became an international sex symbol during the 1970s after she played one of the famous three female detectives on the hit television show ‘Charlie's Angels’.
The spotlight never left her but in September 2006 Fawcett was diagnosed with anal cancer. She sought aggressive treatment in the U.S. and Germany and was declared cancer-free in just four months.
Only a few months later, scans showed the recurrence of cancer. The doctors found that "not only had it recurred, it metastasized to her liver”.
Farrah Fawcett had recently said that she will be sharing the details of her cancer battle with the world through a television special called ‘Farrah's Story’, which will be aired May 15 on U.S. network NBC.
Thank you for bring anal cancer to our attention
I lost my sister of 62 years last month to Ovarian Cancer. She only lived 6 months past her diagnosis. We need alternative treatments and better testing for these diseases. While trying to get her some financial aid, all I heard over and over was "our foundation does not cover Ovarian Cancer."
Wake up people ..CANCER IS CANCER.. It is Debilitating, ravishing, demeaning and strips everyone of their dignity.
It is a terrible thing to watch someone you love loose their battle to cancer.
May God Bless you and yours..
the world will never forget u farrah
god bless you and may god will hold you tight in arms, where your beauty and goodness will never fade. thanks for giving us you.

Fabulous Farrah
As long as you have a breath you have hope.
As long as you have the will you can cope.
As long as you can feel you can achieve.
As long as you can wish you can believe.
Nothing, Nothing, Nothing in this world is impossible! Miracles happen every day. The mind is stronger than the body, and I wish you the best of luck in your recovery. I always thought you were a beautiful lady and if anyone can beat cancer you have as good a chance as anyone.
Farrah; An All American Woman
I grew up watching you in Charlies Angels and Logans Run. I admired you then and even moreso now for your quiet unyielding determination. You were an icon in the 70's and became one again in the 2000's when you opened up and shared your cancer battle with us. Though the span of time between the two events were long, the acceptence of you was nothing short of quick. You went from a role model of beauty to a role model on a mission. That mission, to help millions of people! Thank you for giving so much of yourself to benefit others. Thank you for caring enough about others to never give up. And from above, you will be working on that cure for cancer I have no doubt. When you close your eyes for their final rest, you will not be alone, we will all be right there with you.
For unforgetable Farrah
Dear Farrah: I have always been a fan of Charlie's Angels, I used to watch the programme when I was 8 years old. I am 40 now. Your beauty, elegance and smile is remembered always.
I will pray for you, may GOD bless you.
Love and kisses.

Another Ending To Our Era
Farrah Fawcett was a woman that many teenaged girls, like myself, back in the 1970's look up to. We had to have the Farrah hairstyle, we had too be blond and tan. Farrah was an icon to all of us. There were posters of Farrah all over teenaged rooms. Farrah will be another ending to our era and I am sad to see her go. Thank you Farrah for being a part of our lives.
farrah
my god bless you on the other side. thanks for all the memories
