LiLo talks candidly about split with Samantha Ronson

In an interview with the popular TV talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, the 22-year-old actress talked candidly about her split, her plans after the break-up and about a restraining order Ronson family sought against her.

In Thursday’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, the “Mean Girls” star revealed that her tumultuous break-up with 31-year-old DJ girlfriend came out of the blue.

“I think that break-ups are hard when you’re a private person,” DeGeneres said. “O when you don’t know you’re breaking up,” Lohan added, is “really weird.”

“Did you not know you were breaking up?” the talk show host asked.

“I had no idea what was going on. I just hadn’t seen her in like, a week. She like, disappeared,” the actress replied.

Lohan did tell DeGeneres that the night when she was barred from entering a party for Sam's sister Charlotte Ronson was just ‘really tough’, but rubbished all the ugly rumors of infidelity.

"I don't believe in cheating on someone," Lohan said.

On her career plans after the breakup, Lohan told DeGeneres: “I feel like I want to get my career back in shape.”

She continued: “When people are together so much, it gets really difficult and you forget who you are because you’re more concerned about being with the other person. I think it’s been really good for me. I thought it would be so much harder and it hasn’t been.”

Lohan also revealed that she was totally shocked to know that Ronson family is seeking a restraining order against her, and that her ex same-sex lover Sam has sent her mother, Ann Dexter-Jones, and sister Charlotte to a Beverly Hills police station to obtain a legal injunction to keep Lohan at bay.

“I was like, ‘I don’t understand,’” Lohan said. “It came out of nowhere. I’ve supported Charlotte and I’ve never done anything for people to assume I’m dangerous.”

Lohan also said that she is doing surprisingly well after the split. “I don’t know what happened but everything fell into place and everything is really moving and going on and it feels really good,” she said.

Meanwhile, reports are running rampant that LiLo is back to the boys. The New York Post reports that LiLo is dating a man. She was spotted hooking up with a British photographer, named Chris Jepson, recently at a Hollywood Hills house party. Life & Style reported a similar story, but identified her new man as a club manager.
