Mumbai -- After registering a strong opening, markets are trading firm on the back of buying in heavy weights like Reliance Industries, BHEL, GAIL, ICICI Bank, MTNL and ONGC. The BSE Sensex has gained by 181 points to 11493 and the NSE Nifty is up by 60 points at 3374.

Mumbai -- After opening with boost at open the market is advancing further with its strengthening position.
BHEL has surged by 0.5% to Rs. 2190 after the company bagged an order for 500mw plant in UP worth Rs. 12.24bn. The scrip has touched a high of Rs. 2272 and a low of Rs. 2185 and has recorded volumes of over 75 thousand shares on NSE.

The global cues also boosted the domestic markets to open on a positive note. At 10:00 am (IST), the BSE Senesx has added 156 points at 11469. and the NSE Nifty is up by 47 points at 3359.

Mumbai -- The bulls moved ahead in a volatile trading session brushing aside the terror warning sounded by US Embassy in New Delhi.
The stock markets took a nose-dive in the morning session after US Embassy issued a threat on terror attacks in India. However, the sentiments regained after India's industrial production grew more than expected in June, India's April June Industrial production increased 10.1% vs 10.4%.
