Mumbai -- After opening in negative territory, finally, the markets ended firm today with the benchmark index closing at 12,010 levels, up by 37 points . The Sensex moved in a broad range of 11,847 to 12,041 levels in the intra-day trade. In the broader markets, the Nifty ended flat at 3479 levels, up by 7 points.

Mumbai -- Fragile Asian markets and selling pressure in index heavy weights like SBI, ICICI Bank, ONGC, Reliance Industries and Infosys, dragged the market down. In the opening, the BSE 30-share Sensex has shed by 60 points at 11913 and NSE 50-share Nifty is down by 17 points to 3455. SAIL, Zee Telefilms, Hindalco, ICICI Bank, GAIL, SBI and Tisco are the key losers among the 50-scrips of Nifty.

Mumbai -- A long awaited Sensex date with 12000 mark came to an end today when the BSE benchmark Sensex touched an intra day high of 12003.68. Although, it didn't lasted long enough as markets faced stiff resistance at higher levels and eventually gained 79 points to close at 11973 after touching an intra-day high of 12003.68 and a low of 11892.24.

Mumbai -- After registering positive bias in the opening, the market is advancing further with smart gains.
The BSE 30-share Sensex has surged by 109 points at 12002 and NSE 50-share Nifty is up by 24 points to 3478. This is the first time the benchmark BSE index has struck the milestone since May 18. At 2:40 pm, the Sensex was quoting at 11,967, up 0.6% or 74 points from the previous close. Earlier, it touched a intra-day high of 12,003.

Mumbai -- Strong Asian markets and low international prices lead to opening of market in green territory. Index heavy weights like Dr Reddy’s Labs, Ranbaxy, Reliance Industries, Infosys and ONGC are trading well. In the morning trading session, the BSE 30-share Sensex has gained by 73 points at 11967 and NSE 50-share Nifty is up by 19 points to 3474. Britannia, OBC, Tata Tea, HCL Tech, Tata Chemical, Dr Reddy’s Labs and MTNL are the major gainers among the 50-scrips of Nifty.

Mumbai -- Boosted with strong overseas markets and decline in international crude oil prices, the market was on rampage right from the beginning in the morning.
The market started with positive bias and continued its upward trend with benchmark Sensex adding over 200 points today. Index heavy weights like Infosys, SBI, HDFC Bank, SBI, Dr Reddy’s Labs and Bharti Airtel were the major gainers among the 30 Sensex scrips. The benchmark Sensex added 233 points to close at 11894 and NSE Nifty gained by 64 points to close at 3454.

Bajaj Electricals has boosted after bagging an order worth Rs. 700mn . The manufacturer and marketier of consumer household and industrial goods has surged by 9.4% to Rs. 482. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 515 and a low of Rs. 434 and has recorded volumes of over 3,000 shares on BSE.
