NDTV, Banking stocks fall while Wipro, Sun TV shine

Mumbai -- At 14:04 pm (IST), NDTV has plunged over 8.5% to Rs. 148. The company is to post their Q1 result today. The scrip has touched a high of Rs. 165 and a low of Rs. 148 and has recorded volumes of over 4.5 lakh shares on NSE.
Bank Of India and Bank Of Baroda are the major losers among the Bank stocks
Banking stocks are beaten up badly. Bank Of India slips 5.5% to Rs. 81, ICICI Bank has lost by 1.1% to Rs. 471, Bank Of Baroda is down by 2.6% to Rs. 180, SBI came down by 1.3% to Rs. 698 and Union Bank has lost by 2.2% to Rs. 84.
At 14:28 pm (IST), Wipro has gained by 1.1% to Rs. 482.The company is to post their Q1 result today. The scrip has touched a high of Rs. 489 and a low of Rs. 473 and has recorded volumes of over 2 lakh shares on BSE.
At 14:47 pm (IST), HDFC has lost by 1.3% to Rs. 1067.The company posted their result with Q1 profit at Rs. 2.97 (up 20%) and total income at Rs. 12.48bn (up 33%). The scrip has touched a high of Rs. 1107 and a low of Rs. 1050 and has recorded volumes of over 4.9 lakh shares on NSE.
At 14:56 pm (IST), Sun TV has gained by 1.5% to Rs. 1085.The company is to announce their Q1 result today. The scrip has touched a high of Rs. 1098 and a low of Rs. 1069 and has recorded volumes of over 40 thousand shares on NSE.
