Metal, Energy, HCL stocks surge higher
Sterlite Industries and Jindal Steel are the major gainers among the metal stocks.
Metal stocks are back in action after yesterday’s fall led by recovery in International metal prices. Hindalco has gained by 1.7% to Rs. 178, Sterlite Industries surged 2.5% to Rs. 422, Sesa Goa edged higher by 0.8% to Rs. 1094, TISCO rose by 1% to Rs. 552 and Jindal Steel climbed 3.5% to Rs. 1526.
At 10:38 am (IST),Suzlon energy has gained by 1.1% to Rs. 1108.
