Market goes red at open
At 10:00am (IST), the BSE 30-share Sensex has lost by 11 points at 10675 and the NSE 50-share Nifty is down by 5 points at 3137
The markets have registered negative opening Led by selling in heavy weights like Reliance, ONGC, MTNL, HDFC, Hero Honda and SAIL.
The global indices closed mixed. US indices, The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 0.1%, to 11,103.55. The S&P 500 gained 1.86, or 0.2%, to 1267.34. The NASDAQ declined 13.13, or 0.6%, to 2116.93.
European shares closed in the positive territory. The German DAX Xetra 30 was up 0.4% at 5,706, the French CAC-40 rose 0.6% at 4,982, and the UK's FTSE 100 gained 0.1% at 5,896. The Italian S&P MIB index rose 0.4% at 36,573.
Asian stocks fell this morning. The Nikkei was down 140 points at 15,412 while the Hang Seng fell 100 points at 16,503. The Kospi gave up 2 points at 1296 and the Straits Times dropped 12 points at 2426.
In the emerging markets, the Bovespa of Brazil was up 0.1% at 36,140 while the IPC index in Mexico lost 0.65% at 19,700 and Russia's RTS index rose 0.4% at 1555.

At 10:15 am (IST),Sadbhav Engineering has locked 5% upper circuit at Rs. 283.40
The company secured an order worth Rs. 2.9bn from Punj Lloyd. The scrip has touched a high of Rs. 283.40 and a low of Rs. 273.80.
