A Hyderabad based software development company, Fortune Informatics Ltd, launched its new product 'eTaxFile in Coimbatore for filling of income tax returns.
Regional Manager of the company, Avinish Kulkarni said that ‘eTaxFile’ is a comprehensive TDS management software application which is designed to make the entire activity ranging from accurate computation of TDS (tax deducted at source) to preparation of challans and TDS returns and finally the electronic filing of the TDS returns automatic.
The National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) has been authorized by the Income Tax department to accept TDS returns on behalf of the Government. Kulkarni said that ‘eTaxFile has been made as per the formats prescribed by NSDL.
Kulkarni also said that in order to create public awareness and increase public appreciation of reforms in income tax administration, the company has launched marketing campaigns. The company is specially targeting Chartered Accountant community for this.
Kulkarni said that the company has already launched the product in various parts of the country. There are 50 lakh companies and organisations in India, in which Fortune has two per cent of market share and wanted to enhance it within shortest possible time.
