Cement, Auto & Metal stocks surge higher

India Cement and Mangalam Cement are the major gainers among the cement stocks

Cement stocks are witnessing fresh buying. ACC has gained by 2.2% to Rs. 811, Grasim surged by 2.1% to Rs. 1941, Manglam Cement climbed 3.3% to Rs. 171, India Cement rose by 6% to Rs. 174 and J k Cement is up by 2.1% to Rs. 145.

Auto stocks were in top gear. Maruti Udyog gained by 3.2% to Rs. 806, M&M surged by 2.7% to Rs. 615, Tata Motors climbed 2% to Rs. 787, Hero Honda was up by 2.1% to Rs. 764 and Bajaj Auto gained by 1.5% to Rs. 2785.

Hindalco and National Aluminum are the major gainers among the metal stocks

Metal stocks are in the limelight. Hindalco has gained by 2.6% to Rs. 173, National Aluminum rose by 2.4% to Rs. 218, TISCO surged by 1% to Rs. 527, Jindal SAW climbed 1.3% to Rs. 263 and Jindal Steel is up by 1.8% to Rs. 1530.
