Banking, cement markets stocks rise

At 9:59 am (IST), the BSE Sensex has lost by 29 points at 10612 and the NSE Nifty is down by 16 points at 3122.
The markets have opened on a lower note tracking a fall in other Asian markets. Asian markets are trading lower on concern with Missile test in North Korea. The major losers among the 50-scrip Nifty are Hero Honda Motors, HDFC Bank, BHEL and Reliance Industries.
PNB, Canara Bank and Bank Of Inbia are the major gainers among the Banking stocks
Banking stocks advance further on hopes increase in demand for the credit among the consumers. PNB has gained by 3% to Rs. 346, Canara Bank has surged by 2.5% to Rs. 211, Bank Of India is up by 2.1% to Rs. 102, Bank Of Baroda rose by 1.75 to Rs. 212 and Crop Bank has gained by 1.75 to Rs. 229.
ACC, Grasim and Prism are the major gainers among the Cement stocks
Cement stocks are witnessing fresh buying. ACC has gained by 0.8% to Rs. 796, Grasim rose by 2.1% to Rs. 1930, Prism surged by 1% to Rs. 28 and Gujarat Ambuja Cement is up by 1% to Rs. 100.
