United States, March 17: After all the controversies and health problems, Michael Jackson, in an attempt to put his best foot forward, has decided to go for another plastic surgery. The decision comes in light of wanting to appear more youthful and fresh before the start of his “This is it” tour in U.K.
‘The king of pop’ is scheduled to perform close to 50 shows at the O2 arena and is preparing diligently for the same. According to Ian Halperin, Jackson’s unofficial biographer, “Michael has consulted some of the world's best cosmetologists and surgeons in preparation for this comeback."
Michael Jackson is infamous in the world of plastic surgery, rumored to have gone under the knife close to 50 times. His first surgery was a rhinoplasty which made his nose look small and well defined. Subsequent surgeries just led to facial damage. He is said to have lightened his skin and also undergone surgeries on his chin and around his eyes.
The “This is it” tour is being considered as Michael Jackson’s comeback as an icon of music. The tickets for the same priced between £50 and £75, were sold at a rate of 333-a-minute. With nearly a million tickets already sold, the fans who were unable to get their hands on concert seats are rumored to be paying close to £16,000 for a pair of front row seats.
Jackson is said to be "ecstatic" about the sales figures and very "excited" about performing his greatest hits. According to a leak set list, he is planning to perform all his classics including 'Billie Jean', 'Man in the Mirror' and 'Thriller'.
The “black or while” singer is currently rehearsing in the U.S. Jackson claims to have had two operations to improve his voice, but is particularly concerned about his crumbling nose.
Jackson's representatives have denied the 50-year-old singer is planning further cosmetic procedures.
