London, January 28: Enjoying the perks of their father’s job are the President’s daughters – Malia and Sasha Obama. Miley Cyrus dedicated a song to them, Jonas Brothers invited the girls to dance and now it’s a non-American star, Daniel Radcliffe of the ‘Harry Potter’ fame, who has decided to shower Obama’s daughters with special attention.
He offered to show the girls around his sets.
Talking to The Daily Beast last week, Radcliffe said, "I'd like to take this opportunity to issue a public invitation to the Obamas that if their daughters would like a private tour of the 'Harry Potter' set, I would be honored to be their personal tour guide."
Harry Potter is known to be a favorite among the first family, with the President reading the books aloud to Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7.
Michelle Obama admitted in a 2007 interview, "Harry Potter is huge in our house." So, it seems the girls are finding fans in their heroes.
All praise for the new President of America, the young British star said, “He is everything the rest of the world liked about America and now likes again.”
Obama, to Radcliffe, symbolizes progress and he claims to be “proud and happy” for the country for its new find. The Obama administration promises changes which have got the whole world excited, says Radcliffe.
The actor will soon begin shooting for the final movie in the ‘Harry Potter’ series – ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.’
Besides America and Obama, the actor also discussed about the recent buzz created by ‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson, who claimed that girls would prefer Radcliffe over Pattinson.
But Radcliffe insisted otherwise. “I can safely say ... they would not. That they do not,” he said, adding that Pattinson is better looking and more charming. “He can do that thing of being sultry and sexy. Rob can just sort of stand there and look at something and start to smolder. And I just can't do that. I'm a natural fidget."
