New York, December 11: The future is looking bright for pop star princess Britney Spears. Finally, after five years she could revive her top stardom. Her second comeback and latest album “Circus” took her back to the top, as it climbed the number one spot on the Billboard 200.

New York, December 11: The future is looking bright for pop star princess Britney Spears. Finally, after five years she could revive her top stardom. Her second comeback and latest album “Circus” took her back to the top, as it climbed the number one spot on the Billboard 200.
Barry Weiss, the chairman and CEO of BMG Label Group is very positive on the effect of having the No. 1 tag on Britney’s career once again. He said that, "This is going to reinforce her icon status. It's not just a No. 1 album."
Britney’s recently released album sold 505,000 copies in the United States during its first week. According to Nielsen Soundscan, a group, which tracks artists’ data, Britney is the first artist to have four albums debuting with sales of more than 500,000 copies.
Britney’s albums with 2Pac, 50 Cent, Jay-Z and Garth Brooks, all sold more than 500,000 album copies each.
Despite the troubles that the singer had previously encountered, she can still manage to win many of her fans. Larry Rudolph, her manager said, "At the end of the day, I think she is America's pop princess, and the world's pop princess, and this just reconfirms it to everyone who doubted it."
Rudolph also stated that "Professionally, she's [Britney] feeling great. ... It's great for her to hear that she's got a No. 1 album again."
“Blackout,” Britney’s first comeback album also debuted at number one but was soon out of the charts due to lack of promotion and the chaos happening in her personal life.
However, with the album “Circus,” it looks like Britney is getting her act straight. She has performed in several shows and her performance during the album’s release on her birthday got positive reviews. The album’s first single “Womanizer” was a hit and her second single “Circus” is the most added song in pop radio.
Britney Spears is scheduled to have an album tour starting from her home state of Louisiana on March next year, which according to her website is “is selling out like hot cakes!”
Britney is one of the biggest female artists selling more than 30 million albums just from the United States.

I love Britney. I love her Circus Video. I will certainly buy the CD. I hope she sells record numbers so that her critics will have to eat crow! I just don't understand why it is okay for Beyonce to only dance and not sing on the American Music Awards. She couldn't sing and dance at the same time and no one has said a word derogatory about it, yet it seems to be a crime for Britney??? By the way, I also adore Beyonce so I am certainly not demeaning her performance--I loved it. We all know Beyonce rocks. I am just saying- Leave Britney alone. Give the girl some credit, she is talented. As long as her songs make me happy when I hear them and her dances makes me happy when I see them, I will continue to be a fan regardless of the fact that she is according to some unable to perform them both at the same time.
