Reality TV star Kim Kardashian on Tuesday got eliminated from the US dance competition series "Dancing with the Stars," becoming the third casualty of ABC’s dancing competition show.

Kardashian and her reigning DWTS champ partner Mark Ballasp received a low score of 17 out of 30 from the show's judges for their lackluster rumba routine. The 27 years old star of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians" lost out after that score was combined with the public votes.

After the announcement of her elimination, Kardashian, who was one of the younger contestants on the show, couldn’t stop her tears rolling down and said, "Today, five years ago, my father passed away, and I just know he's really happy and watching over me, and I made him proud."

Kardashian is daughter of late attorney Robert Kardashian and reality co-star Kris Jenner.

“It was a tough day for her,” Ballas added, “and we talked about it, and I imagine it will always be a sad day for her. I just hope that her time on the show was magical for her, and, at the end of the day, I will always be so proud that I was the one holding her hand up there.”

Last month, Kardashian sustained a nasty cut on her foot, just ahead of Alphabet's ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ which premieres Sept. 22. She reportedly sliced her foot open on a glass coffee table. She was rushed to the New York Presbyterian Hospital for the treatment.

This time, elimination of actress Cloris Leachman, the oldest contestant in the competition, was widely expected. She scored just 15 points but the viewer’s votes helped her remain in the show.

The first two couples to leave the show were comedian Jeffrey Ross and his professional partner Edyta ?liwi?ska and television actor Ted McGinley and partner Inna Brayer.

Model and actress Brooke Burke and partner Derek Hough, who dominated the first week of DWTS, still are at top position. They are sharing the top spot with sportsman Warren Sapp and his partner Kym Johnson.

Below is the list of remaining celebrity contestants and their professional dance partners who will set the stage on fire with their performances:
• Toni Braxton and season one DWTS champ Alec Mazo
• Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer
• Cloris Leachman and Corky Ballas
• Warren Sapp and Kym Johnson
• Rocco DiSpirito and Karina Smirnoff
• Maurice Green and two-time DWTS champ Cheryl Burke
• Misty May-Treanor and Maksim Chmerkovskiy
• Susan Lucci and Tony Dovolani
• Cody Linley and two-time DWTS champ Julianne Hough
• Brooke Burke and Derek Hough
