" title="Beyoncé announces release of new album in November"/> Singer Beyoncé Knowles is all set with her third solo album, and has announced that it will be out in the United States on November 18. The album, which is still untitled, will be released through Music World Music/Columbia. However, a preview is to be presented on October 7, when the first two singles of the project, ‘If I Were A Boy’ and ‘Single Ladies’ will make their debut on the radio. The upcoming album is highly anticipated, given the success of Beyonce’s previous two albums. Her first album apart from the girl group Destiny's Child, was ‘Dangerously in Love,’ in 2003. It went on to become one of the most successful albums of the year and fetched the singer, five Grammy Awards in a single night in 2004. The band split in 2005, following which Beyoncé came up with her second solo album ‘B'Day,’ in 2006, which also opened at No. 1 on the charts in September 2006. Her Columbia record label, a unit of Sony Corp's Sony Music Entertainment Inc. previously stated that Beyonce’s next album would be her “most personal, reflective and revelatory collection to date.” Reportedly, the 27-year-old has co-written and co-produced each track on the album, which is her first solo attempt after marriage to long-time boyfriend Jay-Z. Justin Timberlake is also expected to appear on the project, but details regarding his contributions have not been provided yet. The artists got together to cover the Marvin Gaye/Tammi Terrell classic ‘Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing’ at the Fashion Rocks event at New York's Radio City Music Hall, last Friday. A track titled ‘Beautiful Nightmare’ was leaked online earlier this year, and it remains unknown if it will be included in the album. |
