Megan Fox tops FHM's "100 Sexiest Women" list

For Him Magazine (FHM) has bestowed its annual "sexiest woman in the world" title on Megan Fox, the sultry blue-eyed American actress and model best known for her roles on the television series ‘Hope & Faith’ and breakout role in the 2007 film ‘Transformers’.

FHMOnline.com recently unveiled the results of its annual 100 Sexiest Women in the World poll of FHM readers, and the 21-year-old model-actress has landed at the top of the sexy list.

She beat out the stunning beauties, like Angelina Jolie (No. 12), Rihanna (No. 14), Kim Kardashian (No. 17), Paris Hilton (No. 77) and last year's no.1 sexy woman, Jessica Alba (No. 3) to reach at the top.

"Megan is the deserving winner of this year's FHM title," said FHM Online U.S. Editor JR Futrell. "She's young, she's hot, she's a rising star and her sex appeal has definitely transformed this year's list. She's got a great future ahead of her."

Megan earlier was listed at no. 68 in 2006 and crawled up to no. 65 in 2007. And, this year she made a sudden leap to the top that came largely because of her sexy turn in Michael Bay’s robot-smashing "Transformers," where she plays the love interest of Shia LaBeouf's character Sam Witwicky.

Born on May 16 1986, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Fox began her training in drama and dance at the age of 5. She began acting and modeling at the age of 13 upon winning several awards at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

Fox made her film debut in the 2001 Olsen twins comedy “Holiday in the Sun” as the spoiled heiress and rival of Ashley Olsen. She subsequently became a frequent fixture on television with her notable roles in What I Like About You, Two and a Half Men, and Hope and Faith.

In real-life, Fox is rumored to be engaged to actor Brian Austin Green, who is a whopping thirteen years her senior, and most known for his role on Beverly Hills 90210.

Joining Fox in the top 10 this year are- Jessica Biel (No. 2), .Jessica Alba (No. 3), Elisha Cuthbert (No. 4), Scarlett Johansson (No. 5), Emmanuelle Chriqui (No. 6), Hilary Duff (No. 7), Tricia Helfer (No. 8), Blake Lively (No. 9) and Kate Beckinsale (No. 10).

Troubled pop star Britney Spears came in last place at No. 100, while Lindsay Lohan, Cameron Diaz and Paris Hilton managed to get the No. 16, 18 and 77 spots respectively on the list.

FHM said nearly 9 million votes were cast by the FHM readers worldwide for the 14th edition of the annual poll to choose the sexiest women in film, television, music, sports, and fashion.
