" title="Britney wastes another Custody Hearing"/> Britney Spears failed to regain visitation rights to her two sons as she stooped in another court hearing, said the Los Angeles court officials. The singer did make it to the courthouse but did not enter the courtroom and soon turned to go back. Proceedings were carried on at the courtroom where the pop-star’s lawyers, her ex-husband, Kevin Federline and his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan were present, Los Angeles Superior Court public-information director, Alan Parachini told reporters. Anne Kiley, Spears' attorney told family court Commissioner Scott Gordon that she did not believe Spears would be present for the hearing. Kiley did not offer any explanation and Spears was seen leaving the building after about 30 minutes. "There is no change in the custody order that was in force since January 4, under which Miss Spears had no access," said Parachini. The two boys, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, will remain with Federline, who has been awarded the sole custody of the kids. Spears has been left without the right to see them. Federline and his lawyers left without commenting. Reportedly, Spears’ camp tried to convince the court commissioner to allow the troubled singer to see her kids in a ‘therapeutic setting.’ The commissioner, however, remained indifferent to their plea and turned down the request. The 26-year-old singer had lost the custody of her sons in October but was allowed to see them three times a week in court-monitored visits. Spears was not ordered to appear in court on Wednesday but this hearing had been held at her request, because of which her disappearance seems more bizarre. In the custody-battle with her ex-husband, it was for the second time that Spears turned back after making a brief appearance at the court. |
