Hollywood actor Daniel Dae Kim, who plays Jin-Soo Kwon on the hit ABC series ‘Lost’, has been arrested by Honolulu police on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, becoming the fourth cast member from "Lost" to be arrested in Hawaii.

The 39-year-old actor was nabbed by Honolulu police at 3 a.m. Thursday, and was released at 5:05 a.m. after posting bail. According to the police, Kim was busted for drunk driving.

"At 2:30 this morning an on-duty officer observed a vehicle being driven erratically near South King Street and Isenberg Street," said Capt. Frank Fujii, the spokesperson for the Honolulu Police Department.

"He was transported to the main police station were he was booked and bail was set for $500 dollars," said Capt. Fujii. "He bailed out at about five o'clock this morning."

However, no details were offered by either police or Kim about the alleged DUI, like where it took place, whether any field sobriety tests were conducted and whether the ‘Lost’ actor was cooperative during the encounter.

Kim was reportedly picked by a friend, after spending about two hours in police custody. Wearing a polo shirt, khaki shorts and longer than normal hair, the actor was mum and kept his head down when he walked out of the station. Escorted by two officers, Kim got into the passenger’s seat of waiting silver SUV.

After his latest brush with the law, Kim has become the fourth "Lost" castmember running legal trouble while filming in Hawaii, and one of several other driving-related mishaps.

Before Kim, Michelle Rodriguez, Cynthia Watros and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje were busted by the police for driving related problems.

During the filming of the show in Hawaii, Rodriguez and her ‘Lost’ co-star Watros made headlines when they were each arrested on the morning of December 1, 2005 in Kailua, Hawaii, where the ABC series is filmed. In 2006, Rodriguez and Watros were both convicted of drunk driving.

Characters of Rodriguez, who played Ana Lucia on the show, and Watros, who played Libby, were killed off in 2005 after they both were arrested and pleaded guilty to drunken driving. Rodriguez was sentenced to five days in jail and $357 in fines, while Watros had her license suspended for 90 days and paid a $312 fine.

Akinnuoye-Agbaje who played Mr. Eko was arrested on 2 September 2006 in Waikiki for driving without a license and being uncooperative with police. He was later released on US$500.00 bail, after spending six hours in jail.

Actor Josh Holloway, most known for his role as James "Sawyer" Ford on Emmy award-winning show ‘Lost’ was also in the media spotlight in 2005 when he and his wife Yessica were robbed at gun point in their Hawaii Kai home.

And, on December 20 this year, "Lost" Actress Evangeline Lily, who played Katherine "Kate" Austen in the hit drama, lost her home to a fire. Her house in Kailua, Hawaii was completely destroyed by fire while she was on the ‘Lost’ set.

Born on August 4, 1968 in Busan, South Korea, and raised in New York and Pennsylvania, Kim or DDK (as most of his fans call him) is a handsome and chiseled actor who was also named one of People Magazine's "Sexiest Men Alive" in 2005.

Best known for playing Jin-Soo Kwon on the television series Lost, Kim is also the voice of the character Johnny Gat in the Xbox 360 game Saints Row. He also provided his voice to 24: The Game in which he played his character from the show, Tom Baker.

Kim is due to appear in district court on Friday, Nov. 23 at 1:30 p.m.
