Joss Sone to headline at Live Earthby MT Bureau - June 12, 2007 - 0 comments
Maropeng, South Africa -- Singer Joss Stone will headline the South African leg of Live Earth in Maropeng on July 7. She will perform alongside UB40, Angelique Kidjo and Senegal's Baaba Maal, Billboard.com reported Monday. South Africa will be represented at the concert by the Soweto Gospel Choir, Afro-folk singer Vusi Mahlasela, pop group the Parlotones, kwaito superstar Zola and R&B singer Danny K. Model Naomi Campbell will be speaking at the event. The Live Earth concert will be at the Cradle of Humankind, just outside of Johannesburg. Other Live Earth concert venues will see performances from Madonna, the Police, Genesis, Dave Matthews Band, Kanye West, Foo Fighters, Linkin Park and Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.
