Lawsuit focused on drink-based erectionby MT Bureau - June 7, 2007 - 1 comments
New York -- A New York man has filed a lawsuit against the makers of the Boost nutritional drink, alleging the beverage gave him an erection that lasted several days. As part of the recent Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit, 29-year-old Christopher Woods alleged that he suffered embarrassment and bodily injuries from the days-long erection he gained by ingesting the Boost Plus Nutritional Energy Drink, the New York Post said Wednesday. "It gave me a lot of energy -- too much energy," Woods said of the protein drink. "It was unbearable and embarrassing." "It was awful. It was painful. I would always wear jeans but it was hard to go out, so I had to buy some sweatpants," he added. After undergoing a pair of medical procedures to end his dilemma, Woods alleged that he is partially impotent and self conscious, the newspaper said. Therefore he is seeking unspecified monetary compensation from the drink's former manufacturer, Mead Johnson, and is current distributor, Novartis, the Post said. If what has been reported in this news story is all true, and if there is no gimmick involved, then M/s Mead Johnson and Novartis are about to bring their companies to the trillionaire-level by shrink-sizing VIAGRA. And, side by side, their product, ‘BOOST HIGH PROTEIN’ and ‘BOOST PLUS’, may throwaway Viagra into the dustbin of history. However, before Viagra is downsized it has to be ascertained which chemical ingredient(s) in the Boost were responsible for creating mega ‘erection’ to the consumer, Mr. Christopher Woods ? It has also to be seen whether Mr. Woods is not a dummy petitioner created by M/s Mead Johnson and / or Novartis. This is because the simple news story about the mega-super-power of Boost, published in the media, itself is sufficient to motivate millions of ED ( erectile dysfunction ) patients to rush to buy this hitherto unknown FMC product.
