Photographer sues Lindsay Lohanby MT Bureau - May 12, 2007 - 0 comments
New York -- "Mean Girl" Lindsay Lohan is being sued by a photographer who alleged the actress was driving the car that struck and injured him in New York in March. According to the court papers filed Thursday in New York State Supreme Court, photographer Giovanni Arnold claimed he "sustained severe and permanent personal injuries" as a result of the incident, "Access Hollywood" reported Friday. Arnold is suing both Lohan and her mother Dina Lohan, saying the daughter was driving the vehicle owned by the mother. In the lawsuit, he said the defendants were "negligent, careless and reckless" with the vehicle, causing him personal injury and economic loss. The court papers did not include a damage amount requested. During an appearance on "Late Night with David Letterman" Wednesday, Lohan, when asked whether it was true that she drove over a photographer's foot, commented, "No, but I should ... the guy completely faked it. Amazing." Copyright 2007 United Press International. |
