" title="Leonardo DiCaprio in court over a court"/> Los Angeles -- Actor Leonardo DiCaprio's Los Angeles neighbors are suing him for allegedly crossing onto their property to build his basketball court. The actor built the court in July 2004 and now neighbors Ronald and Joan Linclau have filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court alleging their property was damaged as a result of the renovation, People magazine reports. The lawsuit claims DiCaprio "maliciously" crossed onto the Linclau's property, cut and removed hedges and excavated "earth, granite and bedrock." The suit seeking more than $250,000 claims the Linclau's deck and pool have been destabilized as a result, People said. The couple's suit also claims the Hollywood star repeatedly ignored their pleas to stop the construction. Copyright 2007 by United Press International. |
