" title="Charges filed while Wahler in rehab"/> Seattle -- Seattle police Friday charged actor Jason Wahler with assault, criminal trespass and underage drinking, arising from an arrest at a Seattle hotel last month. Prosecutors said they would seek a penalty of 10 days in jail, a $4,500 fine and dependency treatment, People magazine reported. If convicted in the Seattle case, Wahler, star of "The Hills," could be found in violation of probation he received in an assault case in Los Angeles last September. A family member said Thursday the 20-year-old Wahler entered a rehabilitation facility, which a judge accepted in lieu of his 60-day jail sentence in the Los Angeles case. The judge temporarily suspended the sentence. In March, Wahler was arrested in Greenville, N.C., for underage drinking and resisting a public officer. He was also found guilty of resisting arrest and bribery earlier this year, stemming from an arrest in New York last September. Copyright 2007 United Press International. |
