Douglas to reprise role as Geckoby MT Bureau - May 8, 2007 - 0 comments
Los Angeles -- Hollywood actor Michael Douglas will reprise his role as Wall Street swindler Gordon Gecko in a sequel to the 1987 movie "Wall Street." The new movie, "Money Never Sleeps," will show Gecko as a "wilier, if not wiser" man, Moviehole.net reported. In the sequel, Gecko has been released from jail after serving a sentence for inside trading, and returns to the arena in the era of the global hedge fund. Douglas says Gecko hasn't really changed much through the years, Moviehole.net said. "He's just had more time to think about what to do," he said Douglas won an Oscar for best actor for his performance as Gecko in "Wall Street." © Copyright 2007 United Press International |
