Los Angeles -- Kelly Clarkson says her new CD will be something different, but then she told The Los Angeles Times she tries to come out with a different record every time.

The "American Idol" winner's third album is scheduled to hit stores July 24. It has already produced a Top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100, "Never Again."
