Nokia Outshines with Stylish Duo - Nokia 2630 and Nokia 2760by Smrity Sharma - May 4, 2007 - 0 comments
Wireless wizard Nokia on Thursday launched two new handsets in the market - the Nokia 2630 and Nokia 2760. Both the models are designed for business users and consumers. The world's number one maker of the cell phones has not only worked on cheaper handsets in the market but also on the most lavishing and expensive cell phones. The company feels that just because one is making an entry level phone, it doesn't mean they should make any compromises in style. With the launch of the two cellphones Nokia has prove its point. Nokia 2630 Weighing mere 9.9 mm, Nokia 2630 is the thinnest handset in entire Nokia's portfolio. The cellphone is slim at the waist and comes with all the essential features like Bluetooth technology, convenient productivity tools such as email, MMS, calendar, calculator, FM radio and MP3 ringtones. The pricing is expected to be in the US$115 (85 Euros) range. Nokia 2760 The stylish Nokia 2760 features a digital camera, giving many consumers their first experience with digital photography, and Bluetooth technology to make it easy to share the photos that they capture. It also features video recording, video playback, and FM radio. Nokia 2760 has the combination of Bluetooth and GPRS and also features extra large storage to save up to 1000 contacts in the phonebook. The Nokia 2760 costs marginally more, but it's still quite cheap at around US$122 (90 EUR). Soren Petersen, senior vice president of Mobile Phones for Nokia, based in Espoo, Finland, said in a statement, "By including a camera and Bluetooth technology, we are enabling entry consumers to share their experiences on the go." Both Nokia 2630 and Nokia 2760 will be available in the third quarter of 2007. |
