It seems Destiny’s Child lead singer and the "Greatest MC of All Time" are heading towards marriageville. A four day bash which coincides with the rapper’s 37th birthday is reportedly just a cover up for the wedding. Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z might be exchanging the vows at a lavish Caribbean resort over the weekend.

A four day bash has been organized aboard a yacht in St Barts in the Caribbean as part of the birthday celebration for the rapper who turns 37 on Monday. The couple were overheard talking to record executives at New York's STK restaurant on Saturday about their celebration plans. Rumors are also afloat that friends and family invited to the celebrations were told to have passport applications filed by last Friday so they could witness the pair exchanging vows.

The two have been dating for four years and have kept the relation away from the media glare. Beyonce says that keeping it away from public discussion has helped them and Jay-Z said in an article, "We don't play with our relationship."

There were reports about the two parting ways based on the lyrics of Jay-Z's latest single 'Lost One’, "I don't think it's meant to be, be / For she loves the work more than she does me / And, honestly, at 23, I would probably love my work more than I did she / So we ain't we, it's me and her." Some people just seem to be reading too much between the lines.

As for now all the splitsville rumors have been put aside and the five star resort on the island of Anguilla might be gearing up for a celebrity wedding. The couple had visited the place earlier this year and it seems they decided it had to be ‘the’ place for them. As of now it all seems to be going on track.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé were fond of each other before they had an "official" relationship. In 1999, Jay-Z directed rapper Amil's "I Got That", a video in which Beyoncé was featured. Destiny's Child was also seen in his "H To The Izzo" video singing some of the rap. There were many appearances like that before 2002.

Beyonce, 25 and Jay-Z, 37 both have successful careers behind them and they have been listed as a Power Couple on Time Magazine's 100's Most Influential People of 2006. Jay-Z had remarked during a goodbye party for departing Def Jam head Lyor Cohen in 2004 that he and Beyoncé will "marry very soon.", and it seems the soon is now.
