Kid Tired of Party Girl, Pam Wants No Noise

Four months ago they decided to be together ‘till death do us part’ but now it seems the lawyers can do the trick too. Four months after their much talked about marriage aboard a yacht outside the French Riviera city of St. Tropez and parties in which they celebrated here and there and everywhere. It seems the dream run is out of steam.

Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson have both filed for divorce citing diametrically opposed differences. Kid Rock made sure this was the first thing he did Monday morning, Pam decided the same though she was an hour late.

Kid rock’s friend has gone on record saying that Kid was tired of Pam’s party girl lifestyle. She used to go off partying every night leaving Kid to handle three kids. She used to have fun with her pals and then end up at photographer, David LaChapelle's studio.

Anderson has denied any such thing saying that she has been to David’s studio only twice since her marriage. She has further added that she is concerned about the media attention that the split is drawing. She said that she would like to play down the entire thing so that it does not affect her children. Pamela wants to end the whole thing with rocker Kid Rock amicably and with dignity.

Both of them have mutually taken the decision to split. As Pamela put it, "Truth is, Bob is great in many ways—we just don't belong together." Pamela, 39 and Kid Rock, 35 have three children but none together. Pamela has two sons from her previous marriage with Tommy Lee, while Kid Rock has a 13 year old son from his previous marriage with Kelley South Russell; a Detroit auto worker.

Pamela Anderson, born July 1, 1967 is a Canadian-American actress, glamour model, producer, TV personality and author. She has been referred to as the sex symbol on the 90s and is popularly known for modeling and television acting in the 1990s and for her large breast implants. Baywatch and Home Improvement are her most well known television appearances. She has also been a 'Playboy' cover page girl many times, the first appearance been in October 1989. She is also a well known social activist and is an active member of the animal protection organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

On the personal front, she was married to Tommy Lee, drummer of the band Mötley Crüe, on February 19, 1995 after knowing him for only 96 hours. They had two sons Brandon and Dylan. The couple split and made up again twice, before walking their separate ways in March 2002. After her split she was associated with model Marcus Schenkenberg and the singer Kid Rock (Robert J. Ritchie). She split up with Marcus in 2001 and then met Kid Rock.

Robert James Ritchie better known to us as Kid Rock has had a roller coaster career till date. Starting off with his turn tables at the age of 17. He has had his fair share of bricks and bouquets all along. Born in Michigan, he moved to LA after his marriage to Pamela Anderson. He has various albums to his name but the most popular one been 'Devil Without a Cause' which sold 11 million copies. He released another album in 2000, The History of Rock, which hit a Billboard peak No. 3. Currently he is working on his new album which is supposed to be out in the early part of 2007. In between, Rock was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault after a fight in a strip club DJ in February 2005.

Pamela and Kid Rock began dating in fall 2001. In April 2002, the couple announced their engagement which did not see the walk down the aisle and they split in the fall of 2003. After the split Rock briefly dated Conchita Leeflang. However, in July 2006 Pamela announced that the couple was together again and they married on July 29, 2006 aboard a yacht.

Now within four months the couple has decided to part ways. Rock is back in MI working on his album and Pamela after the success of Borat, is busy with her movie Blonde and Blonder, which is expected in 2007.
