Twist in wrist, Lindsay in hospital

New York Fashion Week party at the Milk Studios on Friday, brought ill luck to Lindsay Lohan, who injured herself while feting with friends.

Suffering a wrist injury, Lohan was rushed to St. Vincent’s hospital in New York. Leslie Sloane Zelnik, Lohan’s publicist said that formal investigation will be carried out to figure out what exactly happened. She even said that the venue had not taken proper measures to prevent skids on the slippery ground.

The week had been really bad for the gorgeous Lohan. Just a day before her injury, she had a tiff with her mother Dina on her 60th birthday, celebrated at New York's plush Phillipe restaurant.

According to insiders, Lohan left her mother crying and shaking by telling her to ‘go to hell’.

Onlookers even told that Dina just started typing vigorously on her BlackBerry for 45 minutes while her friends were just sitting there, and when the birthday cake came, she started crying again - even louder.

She then started throwing fortune cookies on waiters and had to be helped by them to track her path outside the restaurant as it closed for the night.

Shalone said, that Lohan has been scheduled to go back to LA for her movie meetings. She also added that more cryptic investigation in the matter will be sought for, as the accident may have affected the actress’s ability to work and attend some of the meetings.

Lindsay Lee Lohan started in show business as a child fashion model for magazine ads and television commercials. At age ten, she began her acting career on a soap opera; at eleven, she made her motion picture début by playing both twins in Disney's 1998 remake of ‘The Parent Trap’.

Lohan's breakout role as a leading actress came six years later with ‘Mean Girls’ released in 2004. This made media spot light shine on her professional and personal lives—including her nightlife and her parents' marital and legal struggles.

Lohan then began to try different genres and has experimented with varied roles. While filming ‘Herbie: Fully Loaded’ in 2004, Lohan launched her career in music, recording and releasing her first studio album, ‘Speak’; her second album, ‘A Little More Personal’ was released in 2005.

The raging beauty had a catfight with Hilary Duff in 2003 over their relationships with singer Aaron Carter. Since then, Lohan’s life has been a regular fodder for tabloids.

In 2004, Lohan moved in with Valderrama and the gossip of their break up towards the end of the year, sold like hot cakes.

Numerous romantic hearsays followed and Lohan was also limned as a ‘party girl’ who frequented clubs with Nicole Richie and Paris and Nicky Hilton.

The actress has many trips to the hospital so far. Lohan’s three car accident’s in 2005 made headlines. The teen queen spent about two days in a hospital in Miami, Florida, after suffering a serious asthma attack in January 2006.

While shooting for ‘Georgia Rule’ in July 2006, Lohan complained for dehydration and was rushed to the hospital.
