Market sails in between ups and downs

Mumbai -- The market has opened in green territory today and traded with smart gains in the afternoon session. But now it is floating in between ups and downs.

Tata Tea has plunged by 0.3% to Rs. 803. The company has announced that it would consider raising capital on September 14. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 812 and a low of Rs. 803 and has recorded volumes of over 3,00,000 shares on NSE.

On the other hand, huge volumes pushed the Hindalco higher by 1.8% to Rs. 183. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 187 and a low of Rs. 180 and has recorded volumes of over 40,00,000 shares on NSE.

Similarly, PSL has rallied by 5.8% to Rs. 210 after the company bagged a contract worth $17mn to fulfil the requirement of High Pressure Gas Pipeline Project from UAE. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 213 and a low of Rs. 197 and has recorded volumes of over 46,000 shares on NSE.

Following the track of gainers, Goldiam International has surged by 2% to Rs. 129 after the company declared that it has entered into a deal with Globus. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 129 and a low of Rs. 124 and has recorded volumes of over 20,000 shares on NSE.

On contrary, SAIL has lost by 2.7% to Rs. 73, the scrip is the biggest loser among the 50-scrips of NSE Nifty and has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 75 and low of Rs. 73 and has recorded volumes of over 76,00,000 shares on NSE.
