Mumbai -- The market registered the negative opening in early trade session today, but it showed some positive results later.
Century Textile has surged by 1.7% to Rs. 438. The company has declared that it will roll out their new retail initiative later today. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 440 and a low of Rs. 431 and has recorded volumes of over 2 lakh shares on NSE.
Similarly, TVS Motors has rallied by 5.3% to Rs. 97 as the company’s two-wheeler sales in August climbed up. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 99 and a low of Rs. 94 and has recorded volumes of over 6 lakh shares on NSE.
A joint venture with VF Corp. pushed the Arvind Mills higher. The company has gained by 3.5% to Rs. 63 after the company formed JV with VF Corp. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 64 and a low of Rs. 60 and has recorded volumes of over 10 lakh shares on NSE.
Giving the boost to the market, Punj Lloyd has spurred by 2.1% to Rs. 754 after the company won Rs. 3.5 billion contract for IOC's Naptha Project. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 760 and a low of Rs. 739 and has recorded volumes of over 1 lakh shares on NSE.
On contrary, Hinduja TMT has dipped by 5.1% to Rs. 561. The company has announced that it would pay special dividend of Rs. 20 a share. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 597 and a low of Rs. 558 and has recorded volumes of over 90 thousand shares on NSE.
