BHEL, L&T, Tricom India & Tulip IT edge higher
Mumbai -- After opening in green territory today , the market is moving further with smart gains.
Plans of upgrading and expansion has helped Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) stocks to move further. BHEL has gained by 2.3% to Rs. 2296 after the company declared its plan that it would spend Rs. 16bn on upgrade and expansion. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 2296 and a low of Rs. 2254 and has recorded volumes of over 1 lakh shares on NSE.
Similarly, an announcement of the issue of bonus shares has helped L&T surge higher. The company has spurred by 1% to Rs. 2439 after the company declared September 29, 2006 as record date for the issue of Bonus Shares. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 2550 and a low of Rs. 2420 and has recorded volumes of over 1 lakh shares on NSE.
In the same way, Tricom India spurred higher after the company board announced bonus shares at the ratio of 1:1. The company has surged by 3% to Rs. 193. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 197 and a low of Rs. 192 and has recorded volumes of over 2 lakh shares on BSE.
After winning license for National long Distance phone, Tulip IT has moved higher. Tulip IT Services has surged by 2.5% to Rs. 285 after the approval. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 286 and a low of Rs. 275 and has recorded volumes of over 2 lakh shares on NSE.
