Superman will shortly turn into super hubby, as Brandon Routh will tie the knot next year with Courtney Ford, whom he has been dating since three years.

The man of steel popped the question to Courtney and the couple finally got engaged. The wedding bells are not far from the eyes now. Brandon Routh and Courtney Ford first met when the hunk worked as a bar man in the rehearsal dinner for Courtney’s brother’s wedding. The two have been inseparable since then. Even the five month separation when Brandon was shooting for ‘Superman’ in Australia, did not pose any problem between the love birds. Insiders say that the date for the marriage has not yet been decided but it will surely take place next year, adding that the two are on cloud nine. Routh, 26, reportedly proposed to Ford, 28, a few weeks ago with a Neil Lane diamond ring. Brandon said that he cannot express his happiness in words and is very much elated that everything is falling in its right place. The two met three years back and since then, there was no looking back. He said that Courtney makes him go weak in his knees. He considers himself lucky to having found his life partner in Courtney. Brandon soared into the media limelight for his role of Man of Steel in the superhero film ‘Superman Returns’ directed by Bryan Singer. In addition to this summer block buster, Brandon has made appearances on shows including ‘Will & Grace’ and ‘Gilmore Girls’. Courtney, also an actress has former UPN show ‘Moesha’ to her credit. The two will be seen together in their upcoming short film ‘Denial’- a good chance to see the chemistry between the two. |
