Brittany Murphy’s splitby Gunika Khurana - August 23, 2006 - 0 comments
Shooting for the film ‘Little Black Book’ opened a new page in the lives of actress Brittany Murphy and film technician Joe Macaluso, when the two got inclined towards each other and eventually decided to get engaged. The two got engaged on New Year’s Eve in 2005 and were about to be married, but, Brittany broke off her engagement today, saying that their relation was not going too well. It was Brittany’s second engagement. Earlier, she had decided to tie the knot with manager Jeff Kwatinetz. The ‘Sin City’ actress had asked Joe out on their first date, after the completion of ‘Little Black Book’. Things were going quite smooth between the two but no one was ready to comment on what actually went wrong. It was on Sunday that the rumours for the split were first surfaced, when the actress arrived at the Teen Choice Awards without engagement ring. When questioned about the break up, Brittany chose to remain mum. She said that everything between the two was going wonderful and their relationship is not facing any hard times. However, her publicist confirmed the split, saying that the two ended their relationship in a virtuous manner. He also said that the two have decided to remain close friends through out. 'The Groomsmen' was Murphy’s latest film opposite Edward Burns, which has yet to open in South Africa. Presently, she is working on the animated film 'Tinker Bell' |
