Will Cell Phones leave us Brain Dead?

Is the bell of your cell phone ringing danger? The innocuous looking cell phone is killing your brain cells every time it rings. This insidious killer constantly drags you closer to death, by causing cancerous growth in the brain every time we chat on mobile phones.

Cell phones have an invisible evil hidden inside known as electromagnetic radiations. These radiations include low frequency radio transmission, visible light, microwaves, X-rays etc. Though all electromagnetic radiations do not have a dangerous aspect to them like visible light, some of them can be really dangerous as they can be cancerous.

Cell phones normally have their frequency ranging between 450 mega hertz to 2450 mega hertz. Though this electromagnetic spectrum is not particularly dangerous, but at the same time not completely safe too. Numerous tests conducted on lab rats reveal the fact that on exposure to cell phone radiations for 100 hours lead to cancerous growth.

Working on it, the cell phone handset manufacturers are constantly making efforts to reduce the amount of radiations emitted, both from the handsets and from cellular towers. The governments of advanced countries have already instructed the cell phone manufacturers to keep the radiation levels low so as to protect the users from potential health hazards

According to Federal Communications commission US, the authority set up to approve every handset before it is sold, has marked ceiling limits for the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) at 1.6 watts per kilogram, whereas it has been set at 2 watts per kg in the EU. For the uninitiated, higher the SAR, higher is the risk.

While all the handset manufacturing companies are making efforts, Nokia is clearly ahead of other major brands like Sony Ericsson and Motorola by having SAR levels below 0.5 watts per kg in almost all its models.

Cell Phones are a necessary evil. Life comes to a standstill without them. The aforesaid reveals that the same will happen with their usage too. So, it is up to the authorities to make stringent norms and up to the manufacturers to comply with these norms if we want that the Cell phone bell does not ring danger.
