Mumbai -- Market is still on track of gains. Polaris has surged by 3.5% to Rs. 107, As per the latest reports the company is looking to sell part of its stake to foreign software giants. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 109 and a low of Rs. 105 and has recorded volumes of over 14 lakh shares on NSE.
Likewise, Reliance Capital has risen by 1.2% to Rs. 450, according to reports the company is all set to launch its retail broking business. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 454 and a low of Rs. 448 and has recorded volumes of over 5 lakh shares on NSE.
The market spurred ahead when buying is witnessed in Pharma stocks. Cadilah has gauined by 2% to Rs. 621, Cipla is up by 3% to Rs. 248, Lupin has advanced further by 2.7% to Rs. 489 and Dr Reddy’s Lab has added 0.2% to Rs. 1443.
Auto stocks are also trading with gains led by buying. Bajaj Auto has gained by 4.2% to Rs. 1764, Tata Motors is up by 1% to Rs. 796, Maruti has gained by 0.5% to Rs. 799 and M&M has added 0.5% to Rs. 616.
In order of gainers the next is Kerala Ayurveda Pharmacy Ltd. which has locked at 5% upper circuit to Rs. 52.80 after the company rolled out 10 new Ayurvedic Academies in the United States of America. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 52.80 and a low of Rs. 52.80 and has recorded volumes of over 3 thousand shares on BSE.
Sugar stocks are trading lower today. As per the reports, the oil and sugar companies failed to arrive at consensus for ethanol pricing. The decision now has been referred to the centre. Sakhti sugar has lost by 5% to Rs. 156, Bajaj Hindustan has plunged by 4.4% to Rs. 360, Balrampur Chini has lost by 2.4% to Rs. 108 however Dhampur sugar is marginally up by 0.2% to Rs. 21.
Besides sugar stocks, Matrix Labs has also plunged by 0.5% to Rs. 279. According to reports a US-based Mylan Labs is reportedly close to signing a deal for taking a controlling stake in the Hyderabad-based domestic pharma company. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 286 and a low of Rs. 277 and has recorded volumes of over 3 lakh shares on NSE.
