Mumbai -- Recommendation of dividend pushes Upper Ganges higher by 3% to Rs. 168. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 172 and a low of Rs. 164 and has recorded volumes of over 71 thousand shares on BSE.
And, on back of Huge volumes Rolta spurs higher. The scrip has rallied by 9.7% to Rs. 197, after touching an intra-day high of Rs. 200 and low of Rs. 179. the scrip has recorded volumes of over 19 lakh shares on NSE.
While, Profit booking drags Energy stocks. ONGC has plunged by 1.1% to Rs. 1189, RIL is down by 1.5% to Rs. 971, BPCL has lost by 0.7% to Rs. 304. however HPCl is slightly up by 0.2% to Rs. 222.
Hindustan Oil Exploration has lost by 2% to Rs. 132 on back of profit booking. The company sets 1:3 rights issue at a discounted price of Rs. 76. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 141 and a low of Rs. 131 and has recorded volumes of over 5 lakh shares on NSE.
Following the path of losers, ABG Shipyard has plunged by 3% to Rs. 253. The company has temporarily closed down its shipyard at Surat because of heavy rains. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 266 and a low of Rs. 246 and has recorded volumes of over 7 thousand shares on BSE.
