GE Shipping, Auto & Tech stocks surge higher
Mumbai -- Auto stocks are in action on lead by fresh buying. Hero Honda has surged by 1.5% to Rs. 679 after the company decided to build new factory at Haridwar to increase their capacity, the scrip is the biggest gaoner among the Auto stocks. Tata Motors is up by 1.7% to Rs. 780, M8M has gained by 1.4% to Rs. 609 and Maruti has added by 1.2% to Rs. 794.
In the same manner, GE Shipping is up by 2% to Rs. 237 before the company’s Board meets today to consider restructuring. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 237 and a low of Rs. 232 and has recorded volumes of over 4 lakh shares on NSE.
Tech stocks moves further on back of buying. HCL Tech has gained by 1.6% to Rs. 560, Rolta is up by 2% to Rs. 184, Wipro has advanced further by 1.6% to Rs. 510, Satyam has gained by 1.3% to Rs. 753, Polaris is up by 1.2% to Rs. 102 and Infosys has added by 0.3% to Rs. 1688.
Aurobindo pharma has surged by 1.5% to Rs. 623 after the company gets an approval from the UK to sell their Mirtazapine tablets. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 625 and a low of Rs. 610 and has recorded volumes of over 18 thousand shares on NSE.
