Mumbai -- Wipro has lagged behind by 2.4% to Rs. 496, the scrip is the biggest loser among the 50-scrip of Nifty. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 507 and a low of Rs. 494 and has recorded volumes of over 2 lakh shares on NSE.
Likewise, the Oil & Gas stocks are beaten up severely. ONGC has plunged by 1.7% to Rs. 1160, BPCL is slipped by 1.55 to Rs. 303, IOC has sank by 0.5% to Rs. 378, HPCL has dropped by 1.2% to Rs. 216 and RIL has tumbled by 1.2% to Rs. 956.
Instead of weak market position, FMCG stocks are trading with marginal gains. HLL has gained by 1% to Rs. 222, Archies is up by 1.1% to Rs. 148, ITC edges higher by 0.5% to Rs. 169, Britannia has gained by 0.45 to Rs. 1100 and Tata Tea has added 1% to Rs. 824.
In the same manner, ICICI Bank has gained by 2% to Rs. 558, the scrip is the biggest gainer among the 50-scrip of Nifty. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs. 559 and a low of Rs. 535 and has recorded volumes of over 5 lakh shares on NSE.
