" title="Sony Enters DSLR Camera Segment"/> Marking its entry in the Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera segment, Sony India launched its series of three cameras, under a100 (alpha) brand on Thursday. The series is retains its superior quality and provides the user a blend of advanced SLR features. "It is our endeavor to provide the best imaging technology to all our customers and the launch of the DSLR series is a step in that direction” stated Mohit Parasher, general manager - sales and marketing of Sony India. The Alpha series provides a unique blend of advanced features and designs than most other DSLR cameras in this price range offer. Comprising of two exclusive features; Super SteadyShot and Anti-Dust Protection System makes the Alpha series incredibly versatile. Super SteadyShot is the anti-shake function built into the camera s body that prevents blurry pictures caused by inevitable hand and body movements whereas the Anti-Dust Protection System protects the CCD, and keeps spots and streaks off images. Powered by Sony's Bionz image-processing engine, the series promises a high resolution of 10.2 mega pixels. The image processor enables high quality resolution with proper color contrast, sharpness and white balance. The output is thus crisp and detailed. Featuring the Clear Photo LCD Plus, high resolution 2.5 inch screen with a wide viewing angle is the perfect technology for rich quality images. Even in bright daylight the anti reflection (AR) feature of this model assures exceptional colour reproduction. Complemented with a wide range of accessories, compatible flash, lighting systems, adaptors, extension cables and external battery adaptors the Alpha 100 series would be available at select Sony stores in the country. The series has been priced at DSLR-A100 (camera body) at Rs 54,990; DSLR-A100K (with normal zoom lens) at Rs 64,990; and DSLR-A100KW (with normal zoom and tele zoom lens) at Rs 74,990. |
