Mumbai -- Aurobindo Pharma has edged by 2.4 % to Rs. 640, after the company received US FDA approval for yet another 3 in 1 ARV combination, the scrip has touched an intra day high of Rs. 642 and low of Rs. 633, with volumes of over 1 lakh share on NSE.
Punjab National Bank, PNB has surged by 2.3 % to Rs. 378, after the company announced its first quarter results with profit at Rs. 367.5 crore (Rs. 3.67 billion) from Rs. 358.1 crore (Rs. 3.58 billion), revenue at Rs. 29.22bn. the scrip has touched an intra day high of Rs. 381 and a low of Rs. 372, with volumes of over 4 lakh shares on NSE.
Ashok leyland has announced its first quarter results. The company's net profit is up at Rs 69.2 crore (Rs 692 million) from Rs 54.3 crore (Rs 543 million). Its net sales are up at Rs 1,423.9 crore (Rs 14.23 billion) from Rs 1,062.4 crore (Rs 10.62 billion). Its OPM is at 8.33% versus 8.38%.
jet Airways has also declared its first quarter results. The company's total loss is at Rs. 45 crore (Rs. 450 million) versus profit of Rs. 95.3 crore (Rs. 953 million). Its loss before tax is at Rs. 59.5 crore (Rs. 595 million) versus PBT of Rs. 155.1 crore (Rs. 1.55 billion). Its deferred tax refund is of Rs. 16.8 crore (Rs. 168 million) against expense of Rs. 45.6 crore (Rs. 456 million). The income is up at Rs. 1,646.5 crore (Rs. 16.46 billion) from Rs. 1,310.5 crore (Rs. 13.10 billion).
The company's OPM is at 3.72% against 21.3%. Its employee cost is at Rs. 229 crore (Rs. 2.29 billion) versus Rs. 111 crore (Rs. 1.11 billion). Its fuel cost is at Rs. 585.8 crore (Rs. 5.85 billon) versus Rs. 347.8 crore (Rs. 3.47 billion).
