Now a days, the robo-science is in a hype. Robotics research through out the world has taken a new dimension in science and technology. At present, multi functional work is a new behaviour in scientific inventions.
It is a robot equipped with a new technique. Some may have called it "creepy", some call it an electronic insect. But this is a tiny fabric-climbing robot known as 'Clothbot'.
It wants nothing more than to explore the surface of your jeans or jacket.
The robot was presented at last week's IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation in Minnesota which is designed to grip cloth between a pair of wheels and use the resulting wrinkle to roll its way up any piece of relatively loose and rough-textured clothing. One can use it to style clothing’s too.
It has no trouble with cotton jackets or jeans; it can even turn by shifting its wheels and rebalance using an omni directional tail.
Clothbot was designed by researchers from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese University of Hong Kong and it was projected in International Conference on Robotics and Automation. It's basically a proof of concept, but the developers suggest that it could be used as a toy, a method of "body inspection," or a literally mobile phone that climbs around on your shoulder while you talk.
This is a movable invention, creep on your clothes while you are talking.
So let’s see how this invention works in the daily life.
