The hacking group has attacked various government and non government sites during the course which includes Sony Corporation, the U.S. Senate and the Central Intelligence Agency.
The hacking group in its last Twitter post which was released on June 25 said, “Our planned 50 day cruise has expired, and we must now sail into the distance.” They also added, “This is our final release.”
The hacking group LulzSec came into limelight after making many attacks and in the past week they also joined hands with the much established hacking group ‘Anonymous’. Anonymous consists of hundreds of hackers in its team from various different countries.
Attacks of hacking group
The hacking groups also attacked websites of PayPal unit, Visa Inc and EBay Inc. The hacking activists also did a hostile attack on the website of Wikileaks, who has posted the secret and important documents on their website.
It also attacked and intruded the website of Sony PlayStation Network and stole the personal data of more than 100 million accounts in April which made the company to shut its services for almost five weeks.
LulzSec also attacked the public website of CIA. The hacking group claimed the responsibility of the attacked. One of the CIA officials who was investigating the incident said that the hacking group also wrote “We don't like the U.S. government very much” on the website.
The hacktivists also reportedly attacked the website of Nintendo Co.'s computers however, a Japan-based Company, Kyoto said that the attack was an unsuccessful one.
Atlanta chapter of InfraGard, which is an information sharing agency and have its affiliation with the FBI also featured in the afflicted list.
